Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 “New Game+” Update Delayed to Early 2024

A Sony Interactive Entertainment and the Insomniac Games announced the postponement of the “New Game+” update for the game Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 at PlayStation 5 from the previously scheduled release date of 2023 to early 2024.

In a message, the Insomniac Games stated that more tests are needed to ensure the quality expected by everyone in this update and that it will also include audio descriptions and other features.

We have some news about the next update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. We know that players are eagerly awaiting features like New Game+ and Audio Descriptions, among many others. We have been working closely on these features and need more testing to ensure the quality is up to our standards.

We’re now projecting the next update for early 2024, and we’ll have a full list of features closer to its release. We’ve listened to your feedback and are adding some much-requested features including the ability to change the time of day, swap web colors and replay missions – just to name a few!

We can’t wait to share more with you in the future. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience as our team works to finish the next update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2!
