If you happen to follow people on Instagram similar to mine, you’ve been completely inundated with annual music roundups, many of them terrible, whether from Spotify or Apple Music.
This is an interesting feature, which truth be told, should be present in more subscription services. One of the biggest examples is Netflix! Wouldn’t you like to have a summary of the number of hours you sat in front of your TV watching series and films? Well… I liked it!
In short, Netflix does not (yet) offer the functionality. Yet? Yes, Wrapped pays a lot of attention to the platforms, and as such, it is a matter of time before it becomes something mass in all streaming services. However, while it’s not official, nothing stops you from doing something a little different almost automatically.
Netflix Wrapped 2023? Exist? No, but it’s easy to do!
Therefore, Netflix does not have the functionality available automatically, but there is nothing stopping you from downloading all your viewing information, and in turn creating something very similar or even superior.
This is even an excellent way to understand how your “tastes” have evolved from year to year, whether in the musical field, as well as in the world of series, films, and of course, crime documentaries!
Well, if you really want to do this, you just need to add the extension UWatcherto Google Chrome. The plug-in will in turn analyze your history of series and films, to later offer you a panel full of detailed statistics. This panel offers the most watched series and films, the days and times you most like to sit in front of the TV, and of course, where you are in terms of viewing hours versus the rest of the world.
If you want to do something more complex, you can go to the Netflix website and download your own information. Which in turn will result in a gigantic CSV file, which you can later ask ChatGPT to organize.
Is this something you might want to do? Or would you prefer to receive everything automatically, hand in hand? Share your opinion with us in the comments box below.
