Nothing Phone (2a): After all… The leaks are wrong!

Much has been said about the Nothing Phone (2a), the first smartphone really designed for the mid-range coming from the curious manufacturer created by Carl Pei, the former person responsible for the success of OnePlus.

Well, if you happen to have been paying attention, it’s very likely that you’ve already seen the most recent renderings of the (2a), which of course, despite indicating an interesting design, also imply that the device will be… More of the same, in that which is a Phone (2) without “lights”.

But, we have news! These renderings appear to be fake!

Nothing Phone (2a): After all… The leaks are wrong!

The final design will be this!

Therefore, it seems that Nothing wants to take advantage of the strategy that Google usually implements with Pixel devices, by taking advantage of the ‘a’ to launch a device more focused on the mid-range. However, it does not want to take advantage of the design adopted by Phone (1) and Phone (2).

Instead, it will take on a slightly different design language, and of course, as you’d expect, it will retain the Glyph lighting that has set Nothing apart from the rest.

The device, which will most likely be officially announced at MWC 2024, will hit the market with a design very similar to the first renders that hit the Internet.

After all, this is the only way to give some weight to Nothing’s many tips, such as the phrase “See the world through fresh eyes”, which is obviously a mention of new camera module for the device.

First of all, what do you think about all this? Interested in the device? According to what has reached the Internet, we are going to have an extremely interesting device, which should hit the shelves for just over €350 or €400. Is it the “sweet spot”?
