Paripi Koumei compilation anime film announced

With this teaser trailer, Avex Pictures announced that the anime series adaptation of the manga Paripi Koumei (Ya Boy Kongming!) written by Yuuto Yotsuba and illustrated by Ryou Ogawa will win a compilation film that will premiere on March 1, 2024 and will be titled Paripi Kōmei Road to Summer Sonia.

The animation is from the studio PA Works (True Tears, Angel Beats!, Another, Shirobako, Charlotte), directed by Osamu Honma (Amanchu!, Ayakashi – Samurai Horror Tales, Kedama no Gonjiro, SHIMONETA: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist), the script is by Yoko Yonaiyama and the character design is Kanami Sekiguchi (Canaan, Charlotte, Hanasaku Iroha, Sakura Quest, Shirobako).

In the cast we have:

• Kaede Hondo as Eiko Tsukumi.
• Ryoutarou Okiayu as Zhuge Kongming.
• Shouya Chiba like Kabe-Taito.
• Hibiku Yamamura as Nanami Kuon.
• Jun Fukushima as Owner Kobayashi.

Paripi Koumei (Ya Boy Kongming!) began to be published in Comic Days in December 2019 and a live-action series adaptation premiered in September 2023.
