Shiva cannot contain his excitement at being with the aunt he thought he would never see again. However, the path hides a deep darkness. Amidst the neighing of horses and the deep, icy voices, the fate of the girl who returned from the Other Side begins to emerge. But where is her true place? To which side will Shiva belong?

This is a fairy tale about two beings – one, human; the other, non-human – and about the mornings, the nights, the light and the shadows in which they found themselves.

Nagabe was born in 1993, in Tokyo. With a degree in Japanese Studies from the Faculty of Art and Design at the Musashino University of Arts, he made his debut, while still a student, as a manga artist with the series Buch o wa onee (Akane Shinsha Editions). Author of the illustrations and text The Girl Who Came From the Other Side (Edições MAG Garden), which stands out for its original and evocative style, achieved great worldwide success with this series, which has sold more than one million copies. The author likes old and cozy things so much that he always ends up buying more and more chairs. In Portugal, the series The Girl Who Came From the Other Side is published by Editorial Presença.
