Student Junta Shiraishi has a simple goal: to live a fulfilling youth. The anime series adaptation of the manga Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) by Take premiered in July 2020.

Lovely Complex premiered in April 2007, produced by Toei Animation.

Toradora!

Toradora! is an anime series that debuted in October 2008 with animation by the studio JCStaff.

We follow the story of Taiga Aisaka and Ryuuji Takasu, two classmates who barely know each other and live at war, until one day Taiga decides to declare his love for Yusaku Kitamura, Takasu’s best friend, by putting a letter in his backpack at the end of class, but as fate would have it, Taiga ends up misplacing it and the letter ends up in Ryuuji’s hands. The title Toradora! comes from the name of the two main characters in the series, Taiga Aisaka and Ryuuji Takasu. Taiga sounds like tiger (“tiger” in English), while tiger in Japanese is tora (とら). Ryuuji literally means son of the dragon and a transcription of the word dragon into Japanese is doragon (ドラゴン).

The anime adaptation of the manga Kaguya-sama: Love is War (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen) by Akasaka Aka debuted in January 2019.

The work shows the story of students Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya, the two are considered the perfect couple by other students at Shuchiin school even though they are not lovers. The anime series adaptation of the manga Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san (Takagi-san, the Master of Teasing) by Sōichirō Yamamoto debuted in January 2018.

Animation is the responsibility of the studio Shinei Animation (Elegant Yokai Apartment Life, Doraemon), directed by Hiroaki Akagi (Hina Logic – from Luck & Logic), the script is by Michiko Yokote (RIN-NE, Genshiken, ReLIFE) and character design is the responsibility of Aya Takano (Himouto!
