A Certain Affinity collaborates with the Archetype Entertainment since 2022, with its executive creative director and co-founder James Ohlen (former lead designer of Baldur’s Gate I, Baldur’s Gate II and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic), and with the studio’s vice president, executive producer and co-founder, Chad Robertson (former studio director at EA BioWare).

James Ohlenthe co-founder and creative director of Archetype Entertainment commented:
